fre:ac is a free and open source audio encoder software download filed under cd ripper software and made available by the freac project for Windows.
The review for fre:ac has not been completed yet, but it was tested by an editor here on a PC and a list of features has been compiled; see below.
Fre:ac is an open source audio converter for Windows, Linux and Mac. We have reviewed alternatives in the past such as using AIMP3, fmedia, shanaEncoder, or Hamster Audio converter. The program's GUI may look a bit intimidating, but on the contrary it is quite easy to pick up and use. The latest fre:ac version should switch to that server automatically, so please check if you are running fre:ac 1.1.3a already. Nevertheless, the freedb.freac.org server is working here for me. It's possible that fre:ac is blocked in your firewall or that the server is temporarily unreachable from your region. Fre:ac is a multi-platform application and available for Windows, macOS, Linux, FreeBSD and Haiku. The Windows version is available stand-alone or from the Microsoft Store. The Linux version is availble in AppImage, Flatpak and Snap format. (redirected from FREAC-3) FOXC1 A gene on chromosome 6p25 that encodes a member of the forkhead family of transcription factors, which plays a role in regulating ocular and embryonic development.
