Tall buttercup is a perennial that reproduces by seeds. Stems are erect, hairy and 1 to 3.5 feet tall, branching at the top. Leaves are alternate, divided into narrow segments and usually three-cleft. Ranunculus acris L. – tall buttercup Variety: Ranunculus acris L. Frigidus Regel – tall buttercup Subordinate Taxa. This plant has no children.
